At SMRC, our students benefit from a range of personalized support services tailored to meet their unique needs. These services encompass physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, sports therapy, acrobatics, traditional dancing (Dabkeh), art education, drama, and psycho-social support.

The aim is to enable PwIDs to access their right to vocational training and employment in the Palestinian labor market. The Programme provides educational, rehabilitation, vocational training, and employment services to PwIDs from the age of 14 to 40 years old. It helps the PwIDs to become independent, self-reliant, included in their local communities, and to live in dignity. The capacity of this Program is 40 PwIDs. It is funded by the Valdesian Church, in Italy, and the Worldwide Moravian Church in Germany.
The Programme aims to raise the awareness of PwIDs, family members, and local councils and schools on disability rights- particularly the right to quality education and protection. It aims also to develop the capacity of community institutions and facilitate the process of inclusion of PwDs in a safe environment in the local community. This Program is funded by the Danish Civil Society in Development Mission (CISU), Denmark, and the Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Germany.
This School provides educational and rehabilitation services to children with intellectual disabilities from the age of 6 to 14. It aims to develop their academic, cognitive, behavioral, language, self-reliance, physical, and social skills, as well as general safety to become more independent and self-reliant. The capacity of this Program is 35 children. Salwa one of the school teachers says: “My sense of belonging to Star Mountain Rehabilitation Center grew a lot during my work. I love working with my children here as they constitute a part of my heart”
